My personal interests are very broad and only after self searching for the past 3 years I began to see the unifying theme in all of my interests.

The common theme is the art form passions behind a piece of art. The craftsmanship.

I think it would be fabulous to have documented all these interests to see them beside one another to

prove the unifying theme but also to “add on” and offer an artistic touch to create a body of work no different than a Picasso, Warhol, Dali, to a Koons, Hirsts, WeiWei. I cannot discount the huge birthright to Canadian artistic heritage. Thompson, Carr, Colville etc.

I MUST have a documented record of this stream of thought in order to clearly manifest to completion the point of “returning to a simpler way of life”.

This is my belief, that we are all part of a continuum ever expanding to only start again. Where old is new again only a bit more Star Wars like where “a long time ago” they had lightsaber and robots and hyperspace etc.

That’s the beauty of the time we’re in, where technology has lifted off while the populous either follow or retreat to the old.

What I attempt is the happy medium of “carry on”, a best of both worlds easy enough to reach the consumer minded but with the cause of better understanding what we NEED from what we can do without.

The ultimate end-game to this vision is…

Hamilton’s Farmers Market has been a convening space for hamiltonians for decades. Nestled beside the library and Jackson square mall it has proven to be the “Heart” of the city. The reality of Muskoka not having a main market is hard to wrap my head around. Especially with so many local farms of every kind.

I think to reason why so many art forms/disciplines attract me is because they are finished and on display to the public.
